The Danish designed and Danish produced dispenser from Details by Wahl&Ross has won the Danish Design Award, for "a new aesthetic approach to a product type - the hand alcohol dispenser - which has become an integral part of our "new everyday life.""

The jury says: “This design solves a difficult situation in a humane way and gives a positive first-hand impression. The solution is a quick response to a new situation and is the most attractive design the jury has seen for this type of product. The dispenser is by no means a thorn in the side, like so many products of a similar nature. The functionality is well thought out and the dispenser can be mounted in three different ways. A contemporary and well-crafted design that brings beauty to a boring problem.”

This is now the third design award dispenser to be attributed; Good Design Award, German Design Award and now also a Danish Design Award.

It feels incredible to announce that the Dispenser from Details by Wahl&Ross has won German Design Award for ‘Excellent Product Design, Bath & Wellness’.

The German Design Awards have been presented by the German Design Council for the tenth time. The internationally renowned prizes are awarded to companies whose pioneering products and projects stand out.

This is now the second design award Details by Wahl & Ross can attribute to the Danish designed dispenser; Good Design Award and German Design Award - as well as finalists for the Danish Design Award.

‘Details Dispenser’ Recognised in Australia’s International Good Design Awards for Design Excellence.

The Good Design Awards Jury commented: “Beautiful aesthetic and premium finish for a now necessary product in the public domain. The use of soft sculptural form and natural material create a more welcoming product than the traditional bathroom-like solutions. Really nicely resolved, and will certainly appeal to the high end market. Overall, this is a really impressive example of design and a standout project that ticks every box for good design in this category. Well done.”

The 2021 Good Design Awards attracted a record number of submissions with 933 design projects evaluated by more than 70 Australian and international Jurors, including designers, engineers, architects and thought leaders. Each entry was evaluated according to a strict set of design evaluation criteria which includes good design, design innovation and design impact.

The Awards celebrates the best new products and services on the Australian and international market, excellence in architectural design, precinct design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design, and reward new and emerging areas of design including design strategy, social impact design, design research and up-and-coming design talent in the Next Gen category.
