The Danish designed and Danish produced dispenser from Details by Wahl&Ross has won the Danish Design Award, for "a new aesthetic approach to a product type - the hand alcohol dispenser - which has become an integral part of our "new everyday life.""
The jury says: “This design solves a difficult situation in a humane way and gives a positive first-hand impression. The solution is a quick response to a new situation and is the most attractive design the jury has seen for this type of product. The dispenser is by no means a thorn in the side, like so many products of a similar nature. The functionality is well thought out and the dispenser can be mounted in three different ways. A contemporary and well-crafted design that brings beauty to a boring problem.”

"It is a great recognition and confirms our design and final product, which we have spent a lot of energy and thought on developing.
It is a huge personal goal to achieve - when we started this project, the goal was a complete design in every detail and we feel we have ended up with a really good product. Winning this award is an invaluable recognition and it has surprised us how much it means to us. It is fantastic and we are already working on the next products.” Maria Wahlberg Rosskelly, co-founder, Details by Wahl & Ross.
This is now the third design award dispenser to be attributed; Good Design Award, German Design Award and now also a Danish Design Award.
